Description

The project proposal of TOR LP Ltd. is aimed at improving the company’s energy efficiency and competitiveness through the implementation of an energy-efficient technology based on renewable energy sources. The project foresees the construction of a 50 kW photovoltaic power plant for self-consumption, combined with an energy storage system corresponding to and covering the capacity of the plant. The system will be used solely for the company’s own needs, will not be subject to any commercial energy purchase or sale, and will supply power to TOR LP Ltd.’s production operations.

The project’s objective is to reduce the company’s energy dependence, optimize operational costs, and limit the carbon footprint of its industrial machinery manufacturing processes for the light industry—an activity characterized by high energy consumption. By utilizing solar energy and local storage, the company will achieve more stable and predictable energy consumption, ensuring uninterrupted production and better resource management. The integration of a renewable energy source will lead to lower energy intensity, higher resource efficiency, and a more sustainable business environment, in line with national and European goals for energy transition and climate neutrality.

The investment complies with the “do no significant harm” principle toward the environment and supports the achievement of national energy efficiency targets. The project proposal is also consistent with the principles of equality and equal opportunities for all. As a result of the project’s implementation, TOR LP Ltd. will achieve significant energy savings, increase its competitiveness, and create conditions for long-term sustainable growth.
