Planning region: All

Description

The project envisages the construction of a photovoltaic power plant (PPP) for self-consumption at the base of “VESEL DOM” LTD in the town of Kyustendil, 101 Buzludzha Street (former base of “Vodno stopanstvo” SC), used under a long-term lease agreement (10 years). The investment includes design, delivery, installation and commissioning of PV modules, an inverter group with a total active output power of 100 kW AC (output AC characteristics of all inverters), a local energy storage facility, supporting structures, DC/AC panels and protections, cabling, measurement and online monitoring, as well as all connection and start-up activities. The system operates behind the metering point with a restriction/export-limit of up to 100 kW active power to the grid and without the sale of electricity; the batteries increase the share of self-consumption, shift the surplus to the evening hours and smooth out peak loads.

The installation is planned on roof and/or ground areas, if necessary with a structural statement for load-bearing capacity. The expected annual production will lead to a significant reduction in purchased electricity during daytime hours, stabilization of energy costs and limitation of price volatility. The project contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and increases the competitiveness of the company in the non-hazardous waste collection sector.

The investment is in accordance with the DNSH principle: implementation in an existing industrial environment without affecting sensitive habitats; packaging/construction waste and in the future decommissioning of PV and battery components will be transferred to licensed WEEE operators; electrical and fire safety requirements are met. The system will be managed through a monitoring platform, warranty and service commitments and a maintenance plan, ensuring long-term reliability and traceability of the effects.
