Description

Scandinavia Clothing Company Ltd. is a company specializing in the production of specialized teams for skiers, cyclists, orienteers, sports socks, etc. The company is established in the niche segment of sports and technical socks, offering high-quality products - ski, trekking, sports and marketing models, as well as products of individual design. The company has built stable positions in the market, serves customers in Bulgaria and Europe, and has a production base with modern knitting machines and equipment for finishing operations.

Problems and needs:
Compressed air, used in pneumatic machines and automated production lines, plays a key role in production processes. Compressor installations are among the most energy-intensive systems in the enterprise, as their continuous operation is necessary to ensure a stable production process. In addition, electricity consumption is significant due to the use of high-speed knitting machines and equipment for thermosetting and finishing operations.

Planned activities:
The project proposal provides for an investment in 2 compressed air compressors with inverter control (22 kW) and the implementation of a centralized control system for the compressor station. The new system will allow for adaptation of the equipment operation according to the actual load, optimal load distribution between the compressors and constant energy monitoring.

Expected results:
-Reduction of energy consumption of the compressor station by up to 5%
-Reduction of CO₂ emissions
-Introduced energy monitoring and control system.

The investment is sustainable in financial, technical and environmental aspects and is fully consistent with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004–increasing energy efficiency, increasing the share of renewable energy, reducing emissions and increasing the competitiveness of enterprises.
