Description

“PLAMEN PETROV – 96” ET operates in the restaurant sector through the management of Snack Bar “Ledenika” in Pleven. The establishment has high and continuous electricity consumption, required for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, lighting, and the operation of kitchen and service equipment necessary for its daily activities.

The project proposal envisages the installation of a rooftop photovoltaic system with a capacity of 30 kW for self-consumption, combined with an energy storage system that will cover peak loads and ensure balanced use of the generated energy. The investment will lead to reduced electricity costs, optimized energy consumption, a lower carbon footprint, and greater energy independence. Through this, the establishment will achieve higher efficiency, resilience to fluctuations in energy markets, and improved competitiveness in the tourism sector, in line with national and European goals for energy transition and climate neutrality.

The investment complies with the principle of “do no significant harm” to the environment and supports the achievement of national targets in the field of energy efficiency. The project proposal is also fully aligned with the principles of equality and equal opportunities for all. As a result of the project’s implementation, “PLAMEN PETROV – 96” ET will achieve significant energy savings, increase its competitiveness, and create the conditions for long-term sustainable growth.
