In compliance with the objectives of this procedure, the project aims to introduce energy efficiency measures in ET Meri i sin - Maria Hristova by the use and storage of energy from renewable sources in local facilities. It is planned to purchase local facilities (batteries) for storing energy, produced by an existing photovoltaic power plant in the enterprise. The integration of an electricity storage system (batteries) to the already built photovoltaic power plant in the enterprise is a strategic measure aimed at optimizing energy consumption, increasing energy independence and sustainability, as well as improving the financial results of the exploitation of renewable energy sources. In order to ensure the quality, effective and timely implementation of the project, the following activities are envisaged: - Delivery and installation of local energy storage facilities (batteries); - Implementation of Communication and visibility measures in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2021/1060; - Project management. The activities will be externalized and will go through the following stages: - Preparation and conduct of procedures for the selection of contractors; - Conclusion of contracts with the selected contractors; - Execution of contracts. Control over the implementation of contracts and acceptance of work will be carried out using the provisions of applicable legislation, the terms of this procedure, as well as in accordance with the clauses of the contracts. As a result of the implementation of the project, improvement of energy efficiency and increase in the use of energy from renewable sources for own needs of ET Meri i sin - Maria Hristova will be ensured, which will contribute both to increasing the competitiveness and reducing the energy intensity of the enterprise, and to the economy as a whole.
