The project of Petrov Service Ltd. is aimed at increasing the energy efficiency of the main building of the company, built in 2005 and used for showroom, repair activities, warehouses and offices. The main problems faced by PS Ltd. are related to the insufficient energy efficiency of the building, which gives rise to increased costs and lower competitiveness: outdated enclosing structures and low energy efficiency, leading to heat losses through the facades and roof; outdated joinery with high infiltration and compromised hardware; thermal bridges in the roof metal structure, leading to condensation and humidification; uneconomical split air conditioning systems; high energy consumption and CO₂ emissions. The main objective of the project is to improve energy efficiency in PS Ltd. by introducing energy-efficient measures to optimize energy consumption, operating costs and carbon emissions, in line with the objectives of the 2021-2027 CPIP and the European Green Deal. The specific objectives are: 1. Reducing heat loss through thermal insulation of the roof. 2. Improving the energy performance of the joinery by replacing it with PVC and aluminum profiles with triple glazing and a broken thermal bridge. 3. Replacing outdated air-conditioning systems with high-efficiency air-to-air heat pumps. 4. Reducing carbon emissions and the ecological footprint of the enterprise. 5. Improving the microclimate and working conditions in the premises. The main activities are related to thermal insulation of the external walls by replacing windows and doors (78.82 m²), thermal insulation of part of the roof (648 m²), and replacement of the air conditioning split systems with 7 new high-efficiency air-to-air heat pumps. With the implementation of the project, the enterprise will reduce its carbon footprint by nearly 4 t/year, optimize its energy costs, save about 9520 kWh/year of energy, and contribute to its sustainable development and the transition to climate neutrality.
