Description

The project of Ingiliz Group LLC is aimed at increasing the energy efficiency and sustainability of the enterprise by implementing a 155 kW electricity storage system (battery), which will be integrated into the existing photovoltaic power plant (PVPP). The main objective of the investment is optimal use of the produced green energy, reducing dependence on the electricity distribution network and improving the energy independence of the enterprise.

Ingiliz Group LLC is one of the few enterprises in the footwear industry in Bulgaria that implements the entire production cycle of footwear, including the production of molds, soles and intermediate products for other manufacturers. This activity is highly energy-intensive and requires a constant and reliable source of electricity, especially during the processes of molding, milling, gluing and finishing of the products.

The existing photovoltaic power plant already provides part of the necessary energy, but due to the lack of storage, a significant amount of produced electricity is lost during low consumption hours. With the implementation of the battery system, this energy will be stored and used during peak hours or when there is a shortage of solar energy, thus ensuring a better balance between production and consumption.

The project will lead to optimization of energy flows, reduction of electricity costs, increase of the stability of the production process and reduction of the carbon footprint of the enterprise.

The initiative is fully consistent with the objectives of the procedure for providing non-renewable financial assistance – promoting the use of energy from renewable sources, improving energy efficiency and accelerating the transition to climate neutrality. The implementation of the project will provide Ingiliz Group LLC with higher competitiveness, energy autonomy and sustainable development in the long term.
