PAVI 2012 EOOD is a commercial company based in Targovishte, whose main economic activity is classified under code 47.78 – “Retail sale of other new goods in specialized stores.” The company operates through its own commercial outlet – a store that offers a wide range of consumer goods and serves both local customers and visitors from neighboring towns. Due to the nature of the activity – daily work with commercial lighting, air conditioning, refrigeration and storage systems, as well as the need for constant access to electricity, energy costs represent a significant part of the company's total operating costs. The increase in electricity prices in recent years has had a direct impact on the company's cost structure and competitiveness. In order to optimize energy consumption, reduce its carbon footprint, and achieve a higher degree of energy independence, PAVI 2012 EOOD plans to implement an investment project for the construction of a 50 kW photovoltaic power plant (PVP) and a 96 kWh energy storage system (battery), intended entirely for the store's own consumption. The photovoltaic installation will be connected to the building's internal power distribution network. The electricity generated will be used to power all electrical appliances, lighting, and air conditioning systems, thereby significantly reducing consumption from the grid and energy costs. The battery system will allow the storage of electricity generated during hours of active sunshine and its release during peak consumption hours or when solar activity is reduced. As a result of the investment, PAVI 2012 EOOD will reduce its dependence on external energy suppliers, optimize its energy costs, and strengthen its sustainability and competitiveness in the market.
