Description

“Mega Electronics – AP” Ltd. was established in 2011, registered under NACE Code 47.54 – Retail sale of household electrical appliances. The company offers a wide range of professional services in the fields of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and the construction of gas installations.
The increasing implementation of energy efficiency measures and the emergence of new energy-saving technologies on the market have led to a growth in market share and business expansion, which in turn creates the need for energy-efficient equipment.
Under the current procedure, “Mega Electronics – AP” Ltd. is applying for the opportunity to install heat pumps based on two main heat sources:
-VRV (VRF) heat pump system – 77.5 kW: This system uses direct expansion of the refrigerant in the indoor units and allows for precise control of the refrigerant flow, ensuring optimal energy efficiency and flexible microclimate control in the premises.
- Air-to-air heat pump – 20 kW: This unit utilizes thermal energy from the outside air for heating and cooling through a refrigeration cycle, with the aim of reducing consumption of conventional energy sources and lowering carbon emissions.
Support for energy-efficient equipment and the use of renewable energy for internal needs through the installation of heat pumps will help “Mega Electronics –AP” Ltd. maintain its competitiveness and continue with its investment plans.
The implementation of this investment, focused on improving energy efficiency and integrating renewable energy technologies into the company, is a key factor for achieving sustainable development. It will also contribute to the cumulative national energy savings target for the period 2021–2030, as set out in the Energy and Climate Plan of Bulgaria.
The project investments will be in full compliance with the “Do No Significant Harm” principle regarding the environment and will support climate resilience, contributing to the green transition of the company’s operations.
