The project proposal aims to radically increase the energy efficiency and competitiveness of AVANGARD BG OOD, an established manufacturer of underwear (KID 14.14) in the Aksakovo municipality, through a strategic investment in renewable energy sources. It is planned to build a photovoltaic power plant with a peak power of 60 kW, integrated into the roof structure of the production facility. The annual productivity of the plant will approximately cover the current needs of the enterprise for electricity. The implementation of the project will lead to: • A reduction in annual electricity costs is forecast, which will free up financial resources for investments in innovations and expansion of production. • Own electricity production will reduce AVANGARD BG OOD's dependence on fluctuations in electricity prices on the free market and will ensure a stable power supply for production processes. • The use of solar energy will reduce CO2 emissions, which will contribute to environmental protection and the implementation of Bulgaria's commitments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. • The investment in RES will position AVANGARD BG OOD as a responsible and sustainable manufacturer of underwear, which will improve the company's image among customers, partners and investors. The project is fully consistent with the objectives of the Operational Program "Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises" 2021-2027, as it promotes the use of RES and improves the energy efficiency of enterprises. In addition, the project contributes to achieving the goals of the circular economy, as it reduces dependence on fossil fuels and encourages the use of renewable resources. The implementation of the project is expected to improve the financial results of AVANGARD BG OOD, increase the company's competitiveness on the domestic and international markets and consolidate the company's position as an innovative and responsible manufacturer of underwear.
