Company ET "Elimex-Ivan Radevski" specializes in the production of chairs made of solid and bent wood. The company has high-performance machines, with which it manages to achieve a capacity of over 10 000 chairs per month. The company strives to optimise energy use in order to reduce harmful emissions into the atmosphere. This project is in line with the objectives of the "Energy Efficiency and Use of Renewable Energy in Enterprises" procedure - to provide focused support to Bulgarian enterprises to improve their energy efficiency and promote the use of renewable energy (RE), thereby accelerating the private sector's transition towards climate neutrality. With a view to greater energy independence and transition to environmentally friendly activities, following the selection of a contractor, the following will be purchased and installed: Battery energy storage systems with inverters – with a capacity of 120 kWh They will be used in a built PV plant to produce electricity for own needs. In order to overcome the limitations to the future development of the company, electricity storage facilities will be installed, which will allow the company to use environmentally friendly energy for its own needs and to store the surplus energy produced by the PV plant and use it during power outages and as a supplementary energy source. This will increase the efficiency of the overall energy production and storage system. The investment in batteries will enable the company to ensure a stable energy supply, minimize energy costs, and ensure the continuity of the production process, which will make it more competitive on the market. The investments under the procedure comply with the requirements of the principle of "no significant harm" to the environment and will contribute to the country's ecological transition.
