FLORA N Ltd. operates in the field of hotel services in the village of Patalenitsa. The project is aimed at increasing energy efficiency and reducing dependence on conventional energy sources by building a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) for own consumption with a local energy storage system with an installed capacity of 30kW, an additional local energy storage system with an installed capacity of 51.2 kW, installation of 1 heat pump with 35kW, and placing 150 m² of thermal insulation with sandwich panels on the roof of the hotel. The main goal of the project is to provide sustainable and environmentally friendly electricity to power the hotel site and for its energy efficiency for heating and enclosing elements, while reducing the company's current energy costs and carbon footprint. The constructed FtPP will be located on the roof of the hotel and will cover a significant part of the daily electricity consumption. The energy storage system will allow the accumulation of excess electricity produced during hours of high solar activity and its use during night hours, when the consumption in the hotel is high. This will optimize internal consumption, reduce peak loads and ensure higher energy independence. Energy measures for thermal insulation of the roof and installation of a heat pump will improve the internal microclimate in the facility. The project is in line with national and European priorities for promoting the use of renewable energy sources and increasing energy efficiency in small and medium-sized enterprises. Its implementation will lead to significant electricity savings, reducing the operating costs of the facility and improving the sustainability of the business. In addition to the environmental effect by limiting greenhouse gas emissions, the project will increase the competitiveness of the company and serve as a good example for the application of green technologies in the hotel sector.
