EMAX Ltd. is an enterprise whose main activity, according to NACE code 38.22, is the treatment and disposal of hazardous waste. The company has long-standing experience and well-established good practices. It holds all required documents and permits for carrying out its activities, including Integrated Permit No.490-H0-I0-A1/2019, Permit No.10-RD-616-04/14.05.2021, as well as implemented and certified management systems in accordance with EN ISO 9001:2015, EN ISO 14001:2015, and EN ISO 45001:2018. The company also possesses Certificate No.2459 of 10.12.2021, supplemented on 21.09.2022, issued by the Ministry of Economy and Industry, confirming the company’s compliance with the regulatory requirements and standards applicable to the sector. The present project proposal aims to improve energy efficiency and promote the use of renewable energy sources through the construction of a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) with an installed capacity of 55 kW, intended entirely for self-consumption. The construction of the PVPP will be carried out in full compliance with all applicable technical standards and regulatory requirements, and the project fully meets the mandatory minimum technical parameters defined under this procedure. The planned investment will result in an actual reduction in energy consumption from conventional sources, a decrease in greenhouse gas emissions, and an increase in the company’s competitiveness through more efficient use of resources. The project will have a positive environmental, economic, and social impact. All project activities are fully aligned with the horizontal principles set out in Article 9 of Regulation (EU) No.2021/1060–promoting gender equality, equal opportunities, non-discrimination, and sustainable development. Furthermore, the project proposal fully complies with the “Do No Significant Harm” principle, as it does not include activities that could have an adverse impact on the environment, climate, biodiversity, or human health.
