1/2 of the population of of Belovo lives in the villages. Village of Gabrovitsa - 354 and village of Dabravite - 383 inhabitants (2022 NSI), a total of 737, which requires no less than 3 personal doctors according to the average number for the Pazardzhik district. The overall indicator for provision with doctors is 46.4 per 10,000 people for the Pazardzhik district. Compared to the population, the municipality needs 33 doctors, and has only 3, located in Belovo and occasionally visiting the villages of the municipality. There are 2,349 inhabitants per doctor compared to 215 for the country.
In demographic terms, Belovo and all villages are distinguished by negative natural population growth due to low birth rate and high mortality, deteriorated age structure (regressive type) and constant migration processes. In the municipality of Belovo there are no medical institutions for hospital medical care, with a shortage of 34 doctors. It is characterized by a poorly urbanized territory (peripheral municipality). The municipality is within the scope of the so-called "areas for targeted support". Difficult terrain prevails. 28.14% are residents over 60 years old, with 20% over 70 years old. In working age, they are 7.14% higher than the indicators for the district. The mortality rate in the municipality for 2022 is 25.68‰, with the indicators for the total mortality in the municipality of Belovo being much higher than those for the entire country, as well as for the region and the district.
There are 3 individual medical practices (PIRO Belovo), with unrenovated offices in the last 20 years - the city of Belovo, Menenkyovo, Akandzhievo and Momina Klisura. Marginalized population-Roma: Gabrovitsa – 2; Dabravite - 10
The project invests nearly 82,140 BGN VAT in installing a movable building in Gabrovitsa, which will also serve the neighboring Dabravite, the settlements with a concentration of Roma-12 and the largest concentration of adults over 60.
