The main goal of the implementation of the combined project of Toki Storage EAD for the construction of a new electricity storage facility with an installed power of 10 MW and a storage capacity of 40 MWh is to increase the share of clean energy in Bulgaria's energy mix on the way to achieving climate neutrality;
Target groups - Consumers of electricity, operators of electricity transmission and electricity distribution networks;
Objectives - Reducing grid congestion, power system balancing and market distortion problems. Guaranteeing the security, stability and readiness of the Bulgarian electricity system;
Expected results - The construction of new electricity storage facilities allows the acceleration of the implementation of new renewable capacities, which are of a non-permanent nature of production;
The main activities of the project are related to the acquisition of tangible fixed assets for the supply of the electricity storage facilities, carrying out of construction works for the installation of the electricity storage facilities, designing the facilities, building facilities for connection of the electricity storage facilities.
