The project proposal is aimed at building local electricity storage facilities (LSS) with an installed capacity of 0.8 MW to an existing 1.6 MW photovoltaic power plant located at PI 67372.54.71, town of Slivnitsa, municipality. Slivnitsa, region Sofia.
Realization of the investment will support the company in the process of providing secure, sustainable, competitive and economically affordable energy.
The addition of local electricity storage facilities to the existing PV represents a significant step towards sustainable energy management. The production of electrical energy from renewable energy in the presence of LSS allows the rapid implementation of new renewable capacities with non-constant production and guaranteeing the security and stability of the electricity system. The integration of renewable generation capacity into the grid will contribute to solving the problems of grid congestion, power system balancing and market distortion.
Realization of the investment will contribute to achieving a significant environmental effect related to the reduction of harmful emissions. The investment under the present project proposal will comply with the requirements of the principle of "not causing significant damage" to the environment, contributing to the ecological transition of the country.

Изграждане на локални съоръжения за съхранение на електрическа енергия инсталирана мощност 0,8 MW: Предмет на инвестицията е изграждане на ЛСС с инсталирана мощност 0,8 MW
ЛСС ще съхраняват генерирана от фотоволтаичната централа електроенергията в локална мрежа при повишено производство от фотоволтаичната централа, като по този начин се намаляват пиковите натоварвания в мрежата.
С цел съхранение и последващо използване на произведената енергия в часовете без генерация от ФЕЦ, ще бъде използвано едно локално съоръжение за съхранение(ЛСС) LUNA2000- 1.6MWH-2H1 с общ капацитет 1,6МWh (4x400kWh) със следните характеристики:
• Експлоатационен живот в цикли ≥ 6 000 бр. цикъла
• Ефективност на ЛСС при C/2 и пълен цикъл заряд и разряд (включва инвертор с управление, конвертори, охлаждаща система, батерии и всички допълнителни електрически консумации. Не включва трансформаторната уредба в случай на присъединяване към уредба високо/средно напрежение) gt;80%
• Минимален използваем капацитет на батерията на ЛСС при заряд ≥ 80% ; при разряд ≤ 10%
• Възможност за безпроблемна работа на ЛСС при външни температури, без редуциране на мощността на инверторната система ≤ -25°C ÷ ≥ +45°C
• Гарантирана годишна използваемост на ЛСС ≥ 360 бр. цикъла
