Nedzhmi Hussein is a registered farmer carrying out his production activities in a pig farm in the village of Sinitovo, Pazardzhik Municipality. The pig farm is an enterprise with a continuous mode of operation and the continuity of the supply of electricity. Energy is critical. This project proposal is aimed at optimizing operating costs in combination with the protection of environmental components. In this regard, an autonomous photovoltaic plant for electricity production for own consumption with a capacity of 162.61 kW will be installed. The capacity of the plant is selected on the basis of an analysis prepared by a qualified person and is consistent with the electricity consumption of the farm. The produced energy will be used only for own needs without returning energy to the grid. The commissioning of the photovoltaic system will improve the activity of the farmer by protecting the environmental components, including reducing the harmful emissions emitted by conventional energy production. The use of renewable energy sources will ensure security and increase the energy efficiency of the farm. The effect of photovoltaic plants is expressed in reducing electricity costs, respectively reducing the cost per unit of production, achieving a higher level of energy independence and diversification of energy sources, which will ultimately increase the profitability of the activity and the competitiveness of the farm.
