The project "Danube Pearls - time travel with songs, dances and traditions" will create a new tourist attraction, under the same name, to attract visitors to small towns in the municipality of Nikopol and promote the rich local cultural and historical heritage.
The main goal of the project proposal is to improve the opportunities for tourism on the territory of Nikopol municipality, by providing material base for the realization of a new tourist attraction, which will be implemented in 6 settlements.
By achieving the main goal, a new tourist attraction "Danube Pearls - time travel with songs, dances and traditions" will be created. The purchase of a mobile equipped stage will create a new tourist attraction - the festival "Danube Pearls - time travel with songs, dances and traditions".
Specific objectives of the project:
- providing material base for the realization of a new tourist attraction by purchasing a complete mobile stage, possibility for indoor and outdoor installation.
- popularization of the rich cultural and historical heritage of the municipality of Nikopol by creating a new tourist attraction "Danube pearls - time travel with songs, dances and traditions"
The realization of the goals set in the project will provide material base for the creation of a new tourist attraction, which will improve the opportunities for tourism development and for the promotion of the rich cultural and historical heritage in the region of Nikopol municipality; will stimulate the development of cognitive and educational tourism.
The expected results of the project are:
- Created material base for the implementation of a new tourist attraction;
- Created a new tourist attraction, providing access to natural and cultural-historical sites;
- Improved opportunities for tourism development in the municipality of Nikopol;
- Promotion of the cultural and historical heritage of the region among the locals and guests of the municipality of Nikopol.
