The project aims to improve the efficiency of lighting on the territory of Dulovo municipality by using more efficient and intelligent technologies, which will ensure a reduction in energy consumption, improve the lighting of street squares, and at the same time will reduce direct costs and carbon emissions. This will be achieved through the introduction of LED lighting, the introduction of the "Street Lighting Automation and Control System" - SAU and consumption monitoring, as well as the introduction of a facility for the production of energy from RES for the needs of the street lighting system. The project proposal will be implemented on the territory of Dulovo municipality and covers the following settlements: villages of Mezhden, Grncharovo, Okorsh, Paisievo, Prohlada, Sekulovo, Chernolik, Boil, Oreshene village, Poroyno village, Ruyno village, Zlatoklas village, Chernik village, Vodno village, Taslakovo village, Pravda village, Vokil village, Kolobar village, Cherkovna village, Yarebitsa village, Razdel village and Aries. The project will enable several target groups to benefit from improved street lighting. These are the local authorities, city and district structures and administrations and above all the local population - those living and working in the territory where the project will be implemented. As end users, they are interested in improving the quality of street lighting and security in the urban environment, as well as in reducing environmental pollution and energy costs. With the implementation of the project proposal, it is expected to improve the quality of lighting, ensure better visibility and safety for citizens, reduce street crime, reduce traffic accidents and ensure safer movement of pedestrians and cyclists, improve of the safety and comfort of society, ensuring safe movement of motor vehicles, increasing traffic safety and creating a comfortable night atmosphere.
