Programme: Recovery and Resilience Plan

With this project, "Valco BP" Ltd. applied for financial support under Procedure No. BG-RRP-6.004 "Investments in technological and ecological modernization" from the National Plan for Recovery and Sustainability. The object of the investment under the project is the purchase of agricultural machinery and equipment for an agricultural building for raising broilers to serve the applicant's activity, namely, raising broilers and producing cereals and oilseed crops.
The realization of the investment, with a total value of BGN 501,026.80 excluding VAT, will be carried out entirely with own funds. The investment includes the purchase of the following equipment:
- ZETOR Forterra CL 140 tractor
- Telescopic loader DIECI Mini Agri 26.6
- Skid steer CAST 28 T
- Poultry breeding equipment - broilers for two animal breeding sites Rositsa village and Byala church village, Pavlikeni municipality, Veliko Tarnovo region
The project's investment aims to ease the work in the company's Livestock Farm by reducing the unattractive manual labor of growing 16,500 animals. broilers. "Valko VR" Ltd. also cultivates 1,727,073 decares of agricultural land, sown with wheat, corn for grain, sunflower and part of the land is left fallow, the harvested amount of produce is used to feed the animals on the farm.
It should be noted that the cultivation of agricultural land is an auxiliary activity in its nature and is aimed both at meeting the own needs of food for the farmed animals. The current FDI is oriented to the "Livestock" sector, which is also the main activity of the company.
In the conditions of European agricultural policy and dynamic climate changes, farmers are challenged to take quick and adequate decisions to avoid undesirable results in the production of agricultural products, which is the company's goal.
