The Wine and Khoro Festival in the village of Gomotartsi is an event that celebrates the rich cultural heritage of the region through traditional Bulgarian music, dance and wine-making. It takes place in June in the village of Gomotartsi, Vidin municipality. During the festival, local wineries welcome visitors, offering tours and tastings of their products. There is also various entertainment such as live folk music, dance performances, exhibitions of local crafts and traditional dishes. The festival also gives visitors the opportunity to learn more about the wine-making process and the history of viticulture in the region. As the name implies, one of the highlights of the festival is the big horo (traditional Bulgarian folk dance). Participants are invited to join the circle and dance together, creating a festive atmosphere that brings people together through music and culture.
The Wine and Khoro Festival in the village of Gomotartsi is a lively celebration of local culture, history and gastronomy that attracts locals and tourists alike.
The cultural products to be created by the project are:
- Young Wine Competition;
- A competition for the best folk dancer in two categories - for children and for adults;
- an authentic costume contest;
- A "How to make wine" video and its broadcasting during the festival;
- the purchase of folk costumes for the Danubia School of the Community Centre, which will be an active participant in the festival;
- Re-establishment of a dance group at the community centre
- Preparation of traditional dishes;
- Folklore programme including amateur groups from Bulgaria, Serbia and Romania;
- traditional festive dance with brass music;
- closing concert by a professional performer;
- ANPT "Danube" and City Wind Orchestra

Провеждане и популяризиране на Фестивал "Виното и хорото": При провеждането на Фестивала "Виното и хорото" ще се създадат следните културни продукти:
- Конкурс за младо вино;
- конкурс за най-добър танцьор на народни танци в две категории - за деца и за възрастни;
- конкурс за автентична носия;
- видеозаснемане “Как се прави вино” и излъчването му по време на фестивала;
- закупуване на народни носии за сформираната танцова група към читалището, които ще бъдат деен участник в празника;
- Възстановяване на танцова група към читалището
- приготвяне на традиционни ястия;
- фолклорна програма, включваща самодейни състави;
- традиционно празнично хоро с духова музика;
- заключителен концерт от професионален изпълнител;
- АНПТ “Дунав” и Градски духов оркестър
Гости на събитието за обитателите на Защитени жилища. В рамките на населеното място има две такива жилища. Обитателите на защитените жилища ще участват в празничното хоро.
Участници ще бъдат и НЧ “Светъл ден- 2009”, в което танцуват деца до 18 възраст, които ще вземат участие в конкурс за народни танци.
