"Domain Justina" EOOD is a company registered as an agricultural producer since its establishment in 2008 and produces agricultural products from its own wine vineyards. During the years of its existence, the company was able to create quality vineyards located in a common. Rhodope region Plovdiv, with the aim of providing the domestic market with niche agricultural products necessary for the wine industry. The company takes constant care of the vineyards and provides agro technical measures that go far beyond good production practices in viticulture. For the purposes of this project, the company applied with 450 dca of existing own wine vineyards. At present, the applicant does not have agricultural equipment adequate for his needs for harvesting the produce. To compensate for the lack of automated harvesting equipment, the company uses hired external services during the grape harvest, ensuring a minimum of 50 - 60 grape pickers to harvest on time. In addition, during the last three years, the production from the wine vineyards in Bulgaria was one of the most losing sectors during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the war in Ukraine, the consequences of which were expressed in an increase in the cost of production, the lack of markets for realization and carrying out sales of the harvest below the established price levels. This sporadic decline in financial receipts forced the management of the company to look for solutions introducing for the first time on the farm innovative production and digital technologies for the organization of agriculture, aimed at automating the work processes of harvesting wine vineyards. Provisions for financing, the grape harvester includes technological solutions with programmable harvesting programs that provide the possibility of traceability and control of the grape harvest and process management, as well as the generation and exchange of real-time screen data for all harvesting parameters.
