Programme: Recovery and Resilience Plan

The measure responds to the need to modernize and decarbonize the vehicle fleet used in the provision of social services by the municipality. The main objective of the project is to improve the quality, efficiency and sustainability of social services provided on the territory of the municipality of Ivaylovgrad. The measure is of particular importance in view of the growing mobile needs in the social sphere, especially in the context of deinstitutionalization and the transition to services provided in the community and in a home environment. Replacing old diesel and gasoline cars with electric vehicles will lead to a significant reduction in carbon emissions, as well as savings on fuel and maintenance. The cars meet the requirements of Regulation No. H-21 of 2023, which introduces into Bulgarian legislation the requirements of Directive (EU) 2019/1161 on the promotion of clean vehicles. It is planned to purchase 1 electric car (category M 1 or N 1) and purchase and installation of an electric charging station. vehicles with a charging capacity of at least 22 kW, meeting the following minimum technical parameters for electric vehicles:
1) Vehicle type, Drive type: all-electric (0 emissions), Min. 2+1 seats (driver + 2 passengers);2) Battery and range: Battery capacity: min. 60 kWh; Autonomous range on a single charge: min. 200 km (according to WLTP);3) Load capacity: Payload: min. 700 kg;4) Charging capabilities: Ability to charge from a standard AC charging station (Type 2), 22 kW; Equipped with an on-board charger with a power of not less than 7.0 kW
5) Warranty conditions: Min. 5 years or 150,000 km for the vehicle and Min. 8 years or 160,000 km for the battery Ivaylovgrad Municipality, declares that it will comply with the above requirements. The expected results include improved access to services and a reduction in the carbon footprint of the activity.
