Programme: Recovery and Resilience Plan

Day center for children and youth with disabilities-Sarnitsa was opened in September 2019. The address of the Day center for children and youth with disabilities is: 20 Svoboda Street, town of Sarnitsa, Sarnitsa municipality, Pazardzhik region.
Its capacity is 25 people. The staff consists of: Head of the service; Social worker; Psychologist; Special educator; Speech therapist; Rehabilitator; Educator; Nurse. Day center for children and youth with disabilities - town of Sarnitsa carries out its activities according to the following licenses for the provision of social services:
- Training for acquiring skills;
- Day care;
- Therapy and rehabilitation;
- Information and consulting;
- Community work;
- Support for acquiring work skills.

The project proposal consists of two activities:
- Activity 1-Installation of a photovoltaic system (PVS) in an existing social service - Day center for children and youth with disabilities - town of Sarnitsa, a state-delegated activity.
The activity envisages the installation of a PVS on the roof of the Day center for children and youth with disabilities - town of Sarnitsa. It is planned to install photovoltaic modules, an inverter, a battery for storing the generated energy, as well as all related strengthening activities.
- Activity 2-Purchase of an electric vehicle, including a connected charging station, for the provision of social services.
The activity envisages the purchase of an electric vehicle, for which the minimum parameters of the Application Conditions will be met, as well as the purchase and installation of a charging station.
The implementation of the project proposal will achieve an increase in the energy efficiency of Day center for children and youth with disabilities - town of Sarnitsa, reduce energy dependence and improve the sustainability of the social service provided.
The activities will be implemented by outsourcing in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Public Procurement Act.
