Svetlomir Bikov has been engaged in the production of potatoes for more than 20 years. In a season, it produces 110-120 tons of potatoes, which it sells in bulk, packed by hand in mesh bags of 25 kg. The potatoes are harvested in stages from June to the end of August. Potatoes are taken out every day and prepared for sale. They are sold every week, on average 400 packs of 25 kg each. They are not stored.
The most often desired package size is 5 kg. Other sizes are also being sought, but the least sought after package size is 25 kg.
For packages of 5 kg. it is necessary to make a total of 24,000 packages, and 2,000 per week.
Market conditions and the reduction of manual labor in the farm require the implementation of an automatic system for preparing potatoes for sale. The automated system produces packages weighing 2.5 kg. up to 25 kg.
Consisting of the following machines:
ROLLER SELECTING TABLE, model RSS 250*80 eco, brand "DOMASZ" - 1 pc.- 4 people work on the machine, who examine and remove the damaged and unsalable potatoes. The potatoes are poured onto the table, the rotating rollers move them forward to the next machine, at the end of the table there is a chute through which the potatoes pass to the receiving hopper of the next machine
ELECTRONIC PULL AND PACKAGING MACHINE, model WE - 30 PLUS, brand "DOMASZ" - 1 pc. - The machine works without human intervention on. The potatoes that fall into the receiving hopper of the machine are transported to an automatic scale that measures and doses the potatoes in doses - from 2.5 to 25 kg.
AUTOMATIC PACKAGING MACHINE, model RA - 1, brand "DOMASZ" - 1pc. On this machine, the mesh bags are formed into which the doses of potatoes are poured. The machine sews and labels the sack of potatoes. A traceability and control system is installed on the machine. The line is adjusted on a touch screen and information is displayed on the number and type of packages and the packed kilograms per day, month, etc.
