The subject of the present project is the repair and modernization of the adjacent terrain to an existing group of student dormitories, to be distinguished as a modern complex, in accordance with the different functional requirements of the individual spaces and activities.
There is a need to repair and modernize the land adjacent to an existing group of student dormitories, to be distinguished as a modern complex, in line with the different functional requirements of the individual spaces and activities - housing and learning, sports and outdoor recreation, public services, parking, landscaping and others. The separate campus is planned to include the necessary communication connections, internet provision, park management, landscaping, sports grounds, new environmentally friendly and energy efficient solutions, as well as public service facilities. The existing terrains are joined in terms of volume and space to the constructed student dormitories.
The implementation of the planned activities will lead to an increase in the quality of the urban environment for students, teachers and researchers and their motivation, as well as the attractiveness of the Bulgarian higher education and research community by distinguishing a campus and turning it into a modern residential complex.
The project envisages the construction, reconstruction, rehabilitation of the physical elements of the urban environment, such as pedestrian walkways and sidewalks, construction of a fence, parking and other elements of the modern urban environment related to the needs of students.

„Изграждане на кампус в гр. София, р-н „Студентски“, м. „Студентски град“, кв. 190: Предмет на настоящият проект е ремонт и модернизация на прилежащ терен към съществуваща група студентски общежития, който да се обособи като съвременен комплекс, съобразено с различните функционални изисквания на отделните пространства и дейности.
Съществува необходимост от ремонтиране и модернизация на прилежащ терен към съществуваща група студентски общежития, който да се обособи като съвременен комплекс, съобразен с различните функционални изисквания на отделните пространства и дейности – квартируване и учене, спорт и отдих на открито, обществено обслужване, паркиране, озеленяване и др. Обособеният кампус се предвижда да включва необходимите комуникационни връзки, интернет осигуряване, паркоустройство, благоустройство, спортни площадки, нови екологично-съобразни и енергийно ефективни решения, както и обществено-обслужващи обекти. Съществуващите терени обемно и пространствено се приобщават към изградените студентски общежития.
Изпълнението на предвидените дейности ще доведе до повишаване качеството на градската среда за студентите, преподавателите и изследователите и тяхната мотивация, както и привлекателността на българското висше образование и научноизследователската общност чрез обособяване на кампус и превръщането му в съвременен комплекс за обитаване.
Проекта предвижда изграждане, реконструкция, рехабилитация на физическите елементи на градската среда, като например пешеходни алеи и тротоари, изграждане на ограда, паркинг и други елементи от съвременната градска среда, свързани с потребностите на студентите.
