The applicant's project proposal is aimed at the purchase of a stand-up sterilizing cooler designed for intensive automated cooling without freezing and long-term storage of agricultural produce, as well as the supply and installation of an 80kW photovoltaic system, including inverters and energy storage batteries. The applicant's farm is located in the village of Stefanovo, commune. Radomir. With the implementation of the investment, sustainability of the applicant's farm will be ensured from the point of view of technological and ecological modernization, and through the introduction of the new assets in the farm, environmental protection will be achieved through the use of renewable electricity, which is part of the Green Deal under the General agricultural policy.
The applicant is not an undertaking in difficulty, given the terms of Commission Regulation (EU) No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain categories of aid compatible with the internal market pursuant to Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty (OJ L 187 from 26.6.2014).
The applicant did not receive support under the Rural Development Program for the period 2014-2020 for improving the assets included in the PII.
Given the above, the FDI is in accordance with the requirements of the procedure under the Fund for the Promotion of Technological and Environmental Modernization.
