The production of rice, or to be more precise, of rice harvest, which Mr. Markov also does, is concentrated along the Maritsa river, in the Plovdiv, Pazardzhik and Stara Zagora regions, the areas where rice cages have been built and can be sown with rice on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria is a little over 110 thousand acres.
