Description

A separate project has been designed and constructed for a photovoltaic power plant (PV plant) with the following parameters:
Installed peak power on the DC side – 2,798.4 kWp 
Nominal power on the AC side – 2,580 kW 
Occupied area of the PV plant – 13,171 m2
A total of 4,240 panels with a peak power of 660 Wp each have been selected, mounted on a certified mounting structure, and 12 solar inverters with a power of 215 kW and output voltage of 0.8 kV. The main activities of the project include the construction of local storage facilities (LSF). These will be connected to the existing monitoring and control system of the PV plant and will be managed by an energy management system that determines the charge and discharge mode of the LSF, ensuring that the energy delivered to the grid does not exceed the amount specified in the PV plant's connection agreement. During the charging of the LSF, at least 75% of the electrical energy from the directly connected energy facility (PV plant) will be used. The minimum time for charging and discharging the LSF will be 0.5C or 1976kWh/860kW=2.30h, managed by the energy management system. 
As a result, the project will ensure the balance of the storage facility (Balance of Plant) – encompassing all the infrastructure components and systems necessary for the operation of the facility.
The connection between the Local Storage Facility and the PV plant will be achieved through a connection system. The LSF is planned to be connected to the low voltage network (LVN) of the connection system.
The need that will be met by the project is the storage and subsequent use of the produced energy during non-generation hours of the PV plant, using an LSF with a total capacity of 1.976 MWh.
The procedure is aimed at the target group - micro-enterprise - "ENERGY DEVELOPMENT 2014" Ltd.
The goal of the investment is to contribute to increasing the share of clean energy in the energy mix and reducing annual carbon emissions.
