The region in which the lands cultivated by "Ekoprim" EOOD are located in Rakovski municipality and Maritsa municipality, Plovdiv region, with a determining share in the municipal economy is agriculture. Cereal crops, vegetable and essential oil crops are represented in crop production. The main competitors of the company are the agricultural producers and agricultural cooperatives producing grain and technical (oilseed) crops, and cultivating agricultural lands on the territory of Rakovski municipality, Maritsa municipality, Kaloyanovo municipality and Brezovo municipality.
"Ekoprim" EOOD is a farmer operating in one sector - grain production, the applicant develops agricultural activity in the lands of Belozem village, Rakovski municipality and Tsaratsovo village, Maritsa municipality, Plovdiv region. "Ekoprim" EOOD has focused its attention on the production of mainly rice barley, which the company, in addition to producing and processing into rice for consumption. In the agricultural holding of "Ekoprim" EOOD, 2,152,183 dec of grain and oil crops are cultivated, of which 1,588,253 dec of rice, 320,000 dec of wheat and 243,930 dec of the cultivated land are left fallow.
The investment costs under this FDI amount to a total value of BGN 484,525.33 excluding VAT and include the purchase of:
- Photovoltaic installation for the needs of the farm - 199 kWh
- Agricultural drone for precise spraying XAG P100 Pro, 50l.
The aspiration of "Ekoprim" EOOD, which is included in the objectives of the current project proposal, is to improve the overall activity and competitiveness of the agricultural holding by modernizing the production conditions contributing to the production of quality agricultural products. This aims to result in a reduction of the costs of agricultural production, improvement of the quality of agricultural production, as a result of an increase in the quality of processing and an increase in income based on an increase in productivity.
