Programme: Recovery and Resilience Plan

The events included in the project proposal “Rakla Fest – Theatre and Circus” fall within the scope of circus and theatrical performances. The program consists of diverse, multi-genre shows as well as workshops with a circus and ecological focus, aiming to inspire the community towards initiative, creativity, and active participation in the cultural life of small settlements. The performances in the program are also suitable for international visitors and guests, due to their multilingual nature – spoken word is not at the core of their narrative and they can be understood by audiences of all nationalities. This positions the program of “Rakla Fest – Theatre and Circus” among the events that contribute to the development of cultural tourism not only on a local level but also for foreign visitors.

The performances “A Moment of Eternity” and “Water” feature Andrzej Sojka, a long-standing member of the Traveling Theatre “Skrin”. He graduated from the University of Zielona Góra, Poland, with a Master’s degree in Cultural and Social Animation. Other participants include:

Daniana Koeva – founder and artistic director of the Traveling Theatre “Skrin”, holding a Master’s degree in Puppet Directing from NATFA “Krastyo Sarafov” and a Bachelor’s degree in Acting in the class of Atanas Atanasov.

Zdravka Marinova – mime artist.

Zlatina Stoycheva – mime, clown, psychologist, and musician.

Damiana Loparska – actress.

Each of them is part of the Traveling Theatre “Skrin” team while also developing other independent creative projects.

All the events included in the project are suitable for audiences of all ages and backgrounds. The rich program also makes it possible for visitors in disadvantaged situations to take part in the experience – both as spectators of our performances and as participants in some of the workshops.

The event will take place in the open square space of the village of Dolna Malina on March 28, 2026.
