The lands cultivated by the agriculturist Georgi Spasov Dobrev are located in the land of the village of Trud, Maritsa municipality, Plovdiv region, with a determining share in the municipal economy of the Maritsa municipality being agriculture. Cereal crops, vegetable crops, fruit crops and essential oil crops are represented in crop production. The main competitors of the farmer are the agricultural producers and agricultural cooperatives producing grain and technical (Oilseed) and fruit crops, and cultivating agricultural lands on the territory of the municipality of Rakovski, the municipality of Maritsa, the municipality of Kaloyanovo and the municipality of Brezovo.
Georgi Spasov Dobrev is an agriculturist focused on the "Crop Cultivation" sector of agriculture - you grow perennials from a Cherry grower.
During the economic year 2022/2023, 71,100 decares of permanent cherry plantations are grown in the agricultural holding of the Georgi Spasov Dobrev Agricultural Complex.
The investment costs under this FDI amount to a total of BGN 160,880.00 excluding VAT and include the purchase of:
- Construction of a cold room for the storage of fresh fruits and vegetables, in the specific case of fresh cherries from Mr. Dobrev's farm.
The aspiration of ZS Georgi Dobrev, which is included in the goals of the present project proposal, is:
- Improving the overall activity and competitiveness of the agricultural holding by modernizing the production conditions contributing to the production of quality agricultural products. This aims to result in a reduction of the costs of agricultural production, improvement of the quality of agricultural production, as a result of the proper storage of the produce and increase of income based on the accurate market entry of fresh fruit.
- Compliance with Community standards and improvement of conditions in the agricultural holding.
