The municipality of Levski is located in central northern Bulgaria and is administratively part of PlevenDistrict and the North-Western Planning Region of the country, bordering municipalities from two otherdistricts, Lovech and Veliko Tarnovo. The total area of Levski municipality is 414.7 square kilometers ornearly 10% of the territory of Pleven District. There are 13 settlements in total – the municipal centre ofLevski and 12 villages (Asenovtsi, Asparuhovo, Bozhurluk, Bulgarene, Varana, Gradishte, Izgrev, KozarBelene, Malchika, Obnova, Stezherovo, Tranchovitsa).
The village of Obnova is the largest village in the municipality with a built-up area of 405 hectares, a land area of 6880 hectares and a population of 1,592 people according to data from the Directorate General of Urban Development and Urbanization as of 15.09.2025. The I-3 Sofia – Pleven – Ruse road passes through its settlement structure. The village is located 20.8 km. from the town of Levski.
There is a general practitioner practice in the village. The health service in the village, where current renovation will be carried out, consists of: a two-story building, which houses 2 general practitioners - 2 doctor's offices, 2 manipulation rooms, 2 rooms for women's and children's consultation, a waiting room and service rooms - 75.20 sq.m.
This project proposal provides for ongoing renovation of premises on the 1st floor to create a modern material and technical base for outpatient care, including the supply of equipment/furniture for the needs of the outpatient clinic. The construction and repair activities are described in the attached Summary CSC for the site. A sketch of the property and a title deed are attached to the project proposal.
