Programme: Recovery and Resilience Plan

According to one of the oldest legends in rock music, once upon a time at a dusty crossroads somewhere in the Mississippi Delta, a poor black musician sold his soul in exchange for genius guitar skills.
Drawing from this legend and thousands of others from the world of music, The Contract tells the controversial and exciting story of Rock from 50 years to the present day.
The show uses different forms of expression, such as on the basis of rock music, it unfolds a whole palette of arts such as theater, cinema, documentaries, classical music, ballet, visual arts, etc. The performance aims to walk and tell the viewer about the various styles and currents through which the music has passed and adapted over the years to reach its complex completion today.
It talks about audiovisual means of expression, music, politics, world history, fashion, tastes and market forms and formats, against a background of a selection of musical performances arranged with a rock band and symphony orchestra.
All this happens in front of an LED screen with a high resolution, on which a virtual decor is projected, which itself in some places turns into a physical one, and where it is needed as a screen, it takes the form of the relevant media.
The show lasts 2 hours and an intermission of 20 minutes.
The show uses the classical stage as its medium, but does not confine itself within the frame of the stage.
It starts from crossing the threshold of the building in which the scene is housed and ends only when the viewer finally leaves the building. For this purpose, a series of art installations has been curated in the lobby, taking the viewer through the space, and the audio system has a thematic playlist running before, during the intermission and after the end of the show.
