Levski Municipality is located in Central Northern Bulgaria, administratively part of PlevenDistrict and the Northwestern Planning Region of the country, bordering municipalities from twoother districts – Lovech and Veliko Tarnovo. The total area of Levski Municipality is 414.7 sq.km or nearly 10% of the territory of Pleven District. There are 13 settlements in total – themunicipal center of Levski and 12 villages (Asenovtsi, Asparuhovo, Bozhurluk, Balgarene,Varana, Gradishte, Izgrev, Kozar Belene, Malchika, Obnova, Stezherovo, Tranchovitsa).
The village of Tranchovitsa is the most northwestern settlement in the municipality, located in close proximity to the municipal border. It is connected to the other settlements by road III-304 and road PVN1110. The population of Tranchovitsa as of 15.09.2025, according to data from the Directorate General of Urban Development and Urbanization, is 387 people. The village is located 34 km south of the Danube River, 50 km east of the city of Pleven and 22 km. northwest of the city of Levski. A third-class republican road from the city of Levski to the city of Nikopol passes through the village structure. The village of Tranchovitsa is the owner of the "Golden Seal" award for a unique European village.
This project proposal provides for ongoing renovation of a building to create a modern materialand technical base for outpatient care in the village of Tranchovitsa, Levski Municipality,including the supply of equipment/furniture for the needs of the outpatient clinic.The construction and repair activities are described in the attached Summary CSC for the site.A sketch of the property and a title deed are attached to the project proposal.
