Borislav Vasilev is a young farmer, with an initial registration date of 27.04.2018. The candidate carries out agricultural activity in a high mountain area characterized by less productive soils. The main activity of the farmer is the development of activity in the fruit and vegetable sector, expressed in the present PII, through the production of potatoes on 300 dca of his own and leased land. The plots are fragmented and relatively small in size, and the time for tilling and harvesting the potato production from the field is very limited, due to the risk of freezing of the soil in the land plots and production. With the current project, ZS B. Vassilev applied for the purchase of specialized agricultural equipment, with the help of which he could carry out digitized and environmentally friendly agro technical measures in the activity of plant breeding. The applicant will purchase with the project, specialized tractor with a navigation system; precision potato planter; active cultivator bed former; and potato deforester. With the implementation of innovative and environmentally friendly agricultural machinery the aim is to implement new technical solutions with digital devices at the same time as applying the principles of effective conservation agriculture, which will automate and carry out all the processes of growing plants. Until that moment, ZS Borislav Vassilev carried out agro technical activities with equipment on rent. The implementation of the investment will ensure the independence of the service and processing activities of the plantations; increase the competitiveness of the market, through the digitization of the production conditions contributing to the production of high-quality agricultural products, at a low cost, as well as improving the protection of the environment through the application of environmentally friendly agricultural technology protecting the components of agro-ecosystems and reducing the effect of anthropogenic impact on them.
