The project proposal of the Municipality of Dolna Mitropolia includes delivery and installation of elements of the urban environment - benches with backrests and waste bins. It is planned that the benches and bins will be installed on squares and sidewalks on the territory of populated areas of the municipality. Through the implementation of the project idea, it will ensure the improvement of the physical environment and public infrastructure in the settlements where the activities will be carried out. Conditions for rest and relaxation of the residents will be provided, as well as the opportunity to develop contacts and meetings between people resting on the benches. By installing the waste bins, pollution of the environment and public spaces will be prevented, which will lead to the improvement of the living conditions of the population.
The activity included in the project proposal corresponds simultaneously to two of the eligible activities according to the application conditions, namely:
1. Construction, reconstruction and/or rehabilitation of new and existing streets and sidewalks, and their facilities and accessories - benches and bins will be installed on the territory of public places - parks, gardens, areas for public use and squares;
2. Construction and/or renovation of areas for wide public use, intended for permanent satisfaction of public needs of municipal importance - benches and bins will be installed on the sidewalks of streets in populated areas.
