Programme: Local Development, Poverty Reduction and Enhanced Inclusion of Vulnerable Groups

The project envisages the expansion of an existing workshop for the production of raw blocks of fruits and nuts, as well as the purchase of additional specialized technological equipment for primary processing of biologically certified agricultural raw materials. The new capacity provided in this project will provide the main / existing production with the necessary preform / semi-finished product, which will undergo further processing. The investment includes construction and installation works and technological equipment for acceptance, qualification, washing, pit removal, drying, etc. of various agricultural products from Annex № 10 - "Raw materials of plant and animal origin and products from them in sensitive sectors". Over 75% or more of the volume of processed raw materials and manufactured products will be biologically certified.
The main focus of the new project is innovation. They consist in the purchase of a fully automated dosing system of the required ratio of ingredients in the various recipes, X-ray technology for process control of foreign bodies and a fully automated horizontal flowpack machine.
The construction of an autonomous photovoltaic plant providing the new capacities is vital, given the current situation in Bulgaria. The constant increase in the prices of energy sources is a factor leading to the bankruptcy of many producers and processors. Reducing dependence and diversification are key to optimizing energy costs. This solar power plant is autonomous and is combined with new generation rechargeable batteries to store and release the energy produced at the right time. The system is in accordance with the required power, and the electricity obtained from it is only for own needs.
