Russia's military aggression against Ukraine since February 24, 2022 has a negative impact on the fisheries sector in Bulgaria. The consequences are market shocks caused by significant cost increases and trade disruptions. The Black Sea becomes a site for exercises and military actions that threaten the security of fishing activities or impede the economic viability of fishing operations.
The expected support under the procedure is expressed in achieving a positive effect in relation to BIZONE-FISH OOD, which is economically affected, due to the turmoil in the market caused by the aggressive war of Russia against Ukraine and the consequences of this aggression on the supply chain of fishing products.
