The project "Equipment, furnishing and replenishment of the library fund of the library at the Enlightenment Library in the village of Golyamo Bukovo" is for the purchase of books from several of the most sought after and preferred genres: historical novels, customs and traditions, mythology,
crime novels, romance novels, children's literature. The purpose of the purchase is to upgrade the Chitalishte's library stock to demand. This will also attract new readers.
Old and new readers will also need a welcoming environment in the library, which is why the project envisages the purchase of new equipment: library shelves, children's library shelf, visitor chairs, library table, work desk. New library shelves will be filled with new books. The library table and visitor chairs will make the stay of the reader more enjoyable and cozy, and the work desk will facilitate the work of the librarian.
Another thing missing from the more modern look of the library is its technical modernization. This is also envisaged in the project - the purchase of a computer configuration and a printer. They will be able to be used by members of the Chitalishte, its staff and visitors, as the Internet and modern technologies are an integral part of our lives, and at the moment the library does not have the necessary equipment.
Bukovo is one of the lively villages in the municipality and many of the residents of the neighboring villages rely on the Prosveta-1930 Community Center and its library.
