The applicant will start the growing of watermelons with investing in a new tractor, which will deal entirely with the activities of the new culture and will carry out the necessary treatments. The tractor has been selected so that it can perform both the heavier treatments for these decars in time and the lighter treatments such as sowing, mowing and fertilizing.
Required for purchase is a tractor with the following technical characteristics:
- Nominal power - about 150 hp
- Engine - 6 cylinder with turbo
- Transmission 4x4
- Electronic gearbox and gearbox under load
- Rear suspension system
- Electrohydraulically controlled front axle, reinforced with a front fork - 500-600 kg.
- Equipped with a standard set of tires
- Additional equipment: a set of narrow tires with rims
For precise control of the tractor, it must be equipped with GPS control with the following characteristics:
- Automatic parallel guidance with correction signal
- Accuracy - 15-20 cm.
The tractor will be attached to an on-farm inventory that is suitable for work in watermelon areas and matches the tractor's traction capabilities. If necessary, an inventory will be hired and attached, suitable and convenient for agro-businesses.
