The investment project is for reconstruction and modernization of the existing base and adjoining territory of a carp farm of Rusalka VT AD in the landed properties № 000090 and № 000317, located on the territory of the village of Polikraishte, Gorna Oryahovitsa municipality, Veliko Tarnovo district. Modernization of the technology, introduction of new economically valuable fish species for the production of larvae, small fish and harvesting material from carp and delicate fish species - sturgeon and catfish is envisaged. The construction of the recirculating system in the fishing complex will support the production of aquaculture through environmentally friendly methods and means of production. The buildings where the fishing complex will be located are existing and have a total area of ​​697 m2. The production base of the fish farm is located near the Rositsa River. The water supply will be implemented by the Rositsa River. The existing pumping station and the adjacent water supply system will be mainly reconstructed, expanded and modernized, water supply of the fishing complex and the landfill basins will be provided. With the realization of the project and more precisely with the completion and repair of the fish farm, the farm will be protected from wild predators. The setting up of separate rooms - a rest room, a dressing room, a bathroom and a laboratory equipped with modern equipment - will improve the working and safety conditions of the working staff while the investment amount under this item exceeds the 1% threshold set in the Selection criteria. The project proposal will achieve a positive Net Present Value as early as the third year.
