The shortage of elderly homes is one of the biggest problems in the social sphere in the country in recent years. Grooming and caring for an elderly person at home creates serious medical and social problems in the family. Apart from the human and moral aspect, lack of care and care in homes or hospices is also economic - losing people of active age who are forced to leave or do not work because they have to look after their elderly parents. Aging is a lasting trend, so the need for such homes is growing.
The elderly home, which is the subject of the present project proposal, is planned to be in the village of Porvenets, Rodopi village - a quiet and peaceful village located 3.7 km. from the ring road of Plovdiv, at the foot of the Rhodopes.
Due to the growing demand for these services, competition does not pose a major threat to the development of this new (innovative) business for our company, which is entirely focused on delivering activities related to "Social care for the accommodation of elderly and physically disabled people".
The objectives of the project are:
- Building a cozy home for the elderly, offering 14 seats, meeting all European standards;
- Opening up 10 new jobs;
- Encouraging the development of non-agricultural activities in rural areas;
As a result of the implementation of the current investment intention, the provision of services in rural areas will increase the competitiveness of these and will help to create sustainable employment of the population in non-agricultural activities.
The project envisages the completion and furnishing of a building built to rough construction, according to Order No. 55 from 20.07.2018. the chief architect of the Municipality of Rodopi, allowing for change during the construction consisting of:
- Reconstruction of a residential building in an elderly home;
- construction of building pl. passenger lift shaft;
- building a fence.
