Through the implementation of the project 50% of the expenses for remunerations and other related expenses owed by the employer/insurer, pursuant to Council of Ministers Decree № 119 will be funded for the period 01.01.2016 – 31.12.2018. The expected result of the project is to provide support to the employer in such a way that the employer himself could maintain optimal staff remuneration which will encourage the employees to achieve high quality implementation of their professional obligations related to the prevention and detection of irregularities and fraud in projects, funded by the European Structural and Investment funds, by ensuring their employment and by avoiding the risks of cuts in the number of staff and providing opportunities for hiring high qualified experts in case of employment turnover. Through the implementation of this project, AFCOS Directorate as a beneficiary will contribute to achieving the objective of Operative programme “Good governance” in Priority Axis № 4 for providing technical assistance to administration structures, participating in the governance and absorption of ESIF. The number of staff in the Directorate (as well as in the Ministry of Interior) is not divided to quotas by gender. The principle of non-discrimination is safeguarded also during application and recruitment of new employees as regards to gender, race, ethnicity, religion, disabilities, age or sexual orientation.
