Project proposal is in the sector of organic fruit growing and viticulture, and provides for investments in the agricultural holding of "Agro Investments" LTD in two directions: investments in irrigation and investments in specialized equipment and agricultural machinery.
The investors in irrigation envisage water supply and automated control of a drip irrigation system on an area of ​​70.8664 ha of orchards of fruit species.
The water supply system is divided into two independent subdivisions, fed by two drilling wells, with a capacity of each of the two - 7dm3s-1. The first subdivision is located on the land of the village of Petrevene and serves an irrigation system for properties with a total area of ​​310145 sq.m. The water supply subdivision covers a distance of a total of 2950 m. The second water supply subdivision is located on the land of the village of Todorichene and serves an irrigation system for properties with an area of ​​398519 m2. It covers a distance of a total of 2375 m. The power supply of the systems is provided by a diesel unit. The irrigation system is equipped with 6 pcs. tanks and is based pump groups, which provide pressure water supply. The consumed water is reported with water meters provided for installation. The transport pipelines are underground, stationary. The control of the water supply is automatic, as the operation of the pumps is controlled by the water level in the tanks and by the set operating pressure of the system. This provides double protection against overflow as well as dry pump operation.
Investments in equipment include the purchase of agricultural and other specialized equipment- tractor with attached equipment, machine for partial, strip tillage in vineyards and orchards, shredders, pruning modules, cultivator, fan sprayer and others. The introduction of the new specialized and agricultural machinery in the farm aims to improve the competitiveness of the farm and prevent soil erosion.
