Programme: Human Resources Development

The project envisages the purchase of agricultural machinery for the needs of the vineyards managed by Midalidare Estate EOOD in the village of Mogilovo, Chirpan municipality. The candidate grows 135 decares of vineyards, from which various red and white varieties are extracted, including Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Murveder, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc.
The project proposal includes the purchase of two attached chassis with a module for lifting and piercing of vines, a machine for removing (contour pruning) vines, two inter-row mowers and two fertilizer spreaders. The total value of the equipment is BGN 166,403.97 without VAT.
The agricultural machinery set in the project proposal will significantly increase productivity and optimize the processes of vineyard cultivation. The need for external service will be eliminated and the risks of shortage of agricultural machinery and labor will be eliminated, especially during the campaigns of vineyard cultivation and the dependence of the work schedule on climatic conditions.
The purchase of assets will also reduce the volume of manual labor. The machine for removing / pruning the vine sticks will have a particularly high effect when replacing manual labor with mechanized labor.
The specialized equipment will provide a more efficient method of agricultural cultivation of the vineyards of Midalidare Estate EOOD, will increase productivity and will give the candidate the opportunity to increase his yields.
Within the project, 4 new jobs will be created in Midalidare Estate EOOD. Jobs will be retained throughout the monitoring period.
