"Bilyana" Ltd. is a registered agricultural producer raising sows and their livestock until the sale of fattened pigs in the land of the village of Bulgarsko slivovo and the village of Borovo. The pig complex in the village of Balgarsko slivovo is one of the largest livestock complexes, which in 2019 fell under the scope of ASF infection, as a result of which by order of the Executive Director of the BFSA was announced primary outbreak of African swine fever in the main livestock, located in the village of Bulgarsko slivovo, municipality. Svishtov, Veliko Tarnovo District, and the measures for control and prevention of the spread of the disease have been determined. As a result of the registered outbreak and the issued order, all animals kept in the pig complex were killed and buried according to the attached protocols for destruction / killing of animals from number 1 to number 7. According to the destruction protocols, 1,426 sows and their entire herd of suckling, growing pigs, fattening pigs and boars were destroyed on the farm. At the time of application, Bilyana Ltd. has managed to partially restore the livestock units on the farm and restart the production of pigs for fattening, as the company has settled 625 bred pigs on the farm but as a result of huge financial losses caused by the liquidation of the entire herd on the farm. development is stopped. With the implementation of the current investment project "Bilyana" Ltd. intends to purchase 612 units. pig parents and 189 pcs. ancestral pigs over 140 days of age prepared for insemination with which to restore the capacity of the main herd of sows -1426  on the farm in the village of Bulgarsko Slivovo, thus restoring the competitiveness and sustainability of its livestock farm.
