MKB LTD was founded in 1996. The company has a main economic activity code 10.71 - production of bread and baked goods, and is the first croissant producer in Bulgaria. Its base production is formed by different types of croissants - size, taste, and filling. Small amounts of frozen pastries are also produced. MKB LTD has its own production base in Plovdiv on 49 'Kuklensko Shose' str. That is where all the material supply, preparation, production, follow-up processes, packaging, storage, and expedition activities take place. The main customers are retail chains in Bulgaria and internationally - Lybia, Egypt, Israel, Serbia, Greece, Romania, Albania. In Bulgaria the biggest client is Kauffland with 50 stores. The investment for this project will take place at the specified address and will be expressed in purchase and delivery of production equipment:
- chocolate producing machine - 1 pc.;
- baking oven - 1 pc.;
- croissant production line - 1 pc.;
- lifter - 1 pc.
The investment will increase the production capacity by ~40%, productivity will increase by up to 25% in three years after the completion of the project-related activities, the cost price of the production will decrease by up to 5%. The amount of export will be drastically increased - by over 35% in three years after the project completion - as with existing, so with new markets - former Soviet republics, Germany, Jordan. At least 10 new jobs will be created. Production will transition to a three-shift work day, the company's and employees' income will be increased. There will be savings of raw materials, electric power, water, spare parts and repair expenses.
