Description

Public spaces are a public good and an important element of the urban environment, which form its characteristic appearance and identity. These are spaces (parks, kindergartens, sports and children's playgrounds, squares, stadiums, pedestrian areas) that have arisen over the years in response to specific needs and goals of diverse communities, places where today the various inhabitants and visitors of populated areas in municipalities meet . They are extremely important for building a sense of belonging, for inclusion, for communication, for recreation, joint activities and entertainment. Good public spaces make a marked contribution to the social and economic vitality of settlements and their attractiveness. They have an important role in retaining and attracting people and investments, and thus also in the competitiveness of municipalities. These are the reasons why public spaces for wide public use, their planning, design and management occupy a key place in municipal policies.
The current project aims to qualitatively improve the sports infrastructure, the surrounding environment and provide a good and safe playing environment. The separation of four functional areas is foreseen:
1. Playground for children from 3 to 12 years;
2. Outdoor fitness;
3. Sports field for football;
4. Area with stands.
With the implementation of the project, an accessible architectural environment for people with reduced mobility will be provided, including of disabled people.
