Astroida Ltd. is founded on 19.04.2001. The activity of Astroida LTD is machining, industrial activity code is 25.62. The products find application in the medical equipment – endoscopes, technical researches, laser technologies, military equipment, etc.
The company specializes in precision detail production and assemblies for optical and opto-mechanical appliances. The trade with optical products on the international market is made jointly with other companies from Bulgaria.
In the recent years the company realized investments that expanded production potential, were introduced new machinery and equipment, which increased the competitiveness of products and the company as a partner in the country and abroad.
Available production machines are full load capacity, which creates a need for additional production capacity to be able to produce all incoming customer orders. There were requests for production of more compicated, high-tech and unique parts. The company applied to the project proposal under the current procedure for granting financial assistance for the purchase of:
1. Horizontal Machining Center - processing with 5 axes simultaneously, CNC and pallet changer
2. Machining center with 5-axis processing
Through the purchase of these 2 machines the company will:
- increase the productivity,
- will be able the processing of complex shaped parts, that have not been carried out
- will be implemented maximum number of operations, which saves time and increases product quality.
3. Stationary air screw compressor system for drying and cleaning of compressed air, which will contribute to improving working conditions and save energy, since it meets the latest requirements and standards.
4. Ultrasonic washing machine, which will be entirely ruled out manual operations in the finishing treatment of parts.

Внедряването на нови технологии за подобряването на ресурсната ефективност и ефикасност в производствения процес ще се постигне чрез закупуването и въвеждането в експлоатация на нови хоризонтални металообработващи центрове - с 5 оси, първия от които е комплектован и с палетех система; стационарен въздушен винтов компресор; Ултразвукова миеща машина.
